     Anne Elizabeth Perrot was born circa 1525. She was the daughter of Sir John and Jane (Pollard) Perrot.¹ She married Sir John Phillips 1st Baronet before 1551.¹ Her death date has not been found.

     Edmund Chamberlain was born circa 1695 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay. He was the son of Edmund Chamberlain and Mercy (?)¹ Edmund Chamberlain married Sarah Furbush on 17 January 1716/17 in Reading, Province of Massachusetts Bay. The Vital Records of Massachusetts say "Edmond Chamberlain of Billerica maried Sarah Furbush of Reading."² Edmund Chamberlain died in 1766 in Mansfield, Connecticut Colony, now Tolland County.^1,3
     Compiler's notes: The lineage of Edmund Chamberlain is unproved, but this seems the most likely scenario. The Massachusetts Vital Records show Edmund of Billerica married Sarah Furbush in Reading in 1713. They then show the birth of 6 children to Edmond and Sarah in Reading. Several sources have surmised that it was Edmond (b. 1660) who married Sarah, but his age and the relocation of the family to Tolland Co., CT makes this unlikely as the elder Edmond continued to be recorded in Massachusetts.

Of all the immigrant Chamberlains, only William moved to Billerica. Several of the sons of William Chamberlain settled in Billerica. The Vital Records include the births of most of their children but not all. This Edmund has not been found, but it is possible that his birth was just not recorded or he was born elsewhere. I have hypothesized that he was the son of Edmund because of the pattern of naming sons after their fathers, and the gap in birth dates between sisters Hannah and Marah.

     Edmund Chamberlain was born on 15 July 1660 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2 He was the son of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.¹ Edmund Chamberlain married as his first wife Mercy (?) on 26 August 1691 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^3,4,1 Edmund Chamberlain married as his second wife Abigail (?) before 1705.² Edmund Chamberlain died after 28 July 1740 in Province of Massachusetts Bay. He acknowledged a deed selling land to his nephew Clement in Billerica, MA on this date.²

     Mercy (?) was born circa 1660 (estimated.)¹ She married as her first husband John Abbott.¹ Mercy (?) married as her second husband Edmund Chamberlain, son of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly, on 26 August 1691 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^2,3,4 Mercy (?) died on 27 February 1697/98 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^4,5

     Hannah Chamberlain was born on 10 June 1692 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay.¹ She was the daughter of Edmund Chamberlain and Mercy (?)¹ Her death date has not been found.

     Ebenezer Chamberlain was born on 17 February 1696/97 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^1,2 He was the son of Edmund Chamberlain and Mercy (?)¹ Ebenezer Chamberlain died on 5 March 1698/99 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at age 2.^1,2

     Marah Chamberlain was born on 17 February 1696/97 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^2,1 She was the daughter of Edmund Chamberlain and Mercy (?)¹ Her death date has not been found.

     William Chamberlain was born on 1 July 1620 in Billericay, Essex, England.¹ He was the son of Francis Chamberlain and Agnes Haiden.¹ William Chamberlain married Rebecca Shelly on 4 January 1646 in Roxbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony.¹ William Chamberlain died on 31 May 1706 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at age 85.^2,1,3

     Rebecca Shelly was born in 1625 in Cambridge, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Middlesex County.¹ She married William Chamberlain, son of Francis Chamberlain and Agnes Haiden, on 4 January 1646 in Roxbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony.² Rebecca Shelly died on 26 September 1692 in Cambridge, Province of Massachusetts Bay. She died in prison, charged with witchcraft.³
     Rebecca was also known as Addington. Compiler's notes: The surname of Rebecca, wife of William Chamberlain is uncertain. George Chamberlain in his book on the descendants of William has transcribed the will of Sarah Shelley of Boston. Sarah is called a "spinster," which in the language of the times could have meant a woman who never married or a widow. In her will, Sarah calles Rebecca Chamberlain her sister and Isaac Addington her cousin. She calls the Chamberlain and Addington children all cousins, but leaves the bulk of her estate to the Chamberlain children. George Chamberlain concluded that Rebecca's maiden name was Shelley and that she and Sarah were either half-sisters or cousins to Isaac Addington.

     Timothy Chamberlain was born on 13 August 1649 in Woburn, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2 He was the son of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.^1,2 Timothy Chamberlain died before 2 November 1724.³

     Richard Dodge was born circa 1602 in Middle Chinnock, Somerset, England.¹ He was the son of John Dodge and Margery (?)¹ Richard Dodge married Edith (?) before 1631 in England.¹ Richard Dodge died on 15 June 1671 in Beverly, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2

     Isaac Chamberlain was born on 1 October 1650 in Woburn, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2 He was the son of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.^1,2 Isaac Chamberlain died on 20 July 1681 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony, at age 30.^3,1

     William Chamberlain was born in 1652 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.¹ He was the son of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.¹ William Chamberlain married Deliverance Fergusson or Fergerson on 20 December 1698 in Watertown, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^1,2 He died on 20 January 1734 in Lexington, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^1,3,4

     John Chamberlain was born on 3 March 1654 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^2,1 He was the son of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.^1,2 John Chamberlain married Deborah Jaquith, daughter of Abraham Jaquith and Annis Jordan, on 6 December 1681 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Their children were Deborah (m. Caleb Farley), John, Sarah, Lydia and Abraham.^1,3,2 John Chamberlain died on 1 April 1712 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at age 58.^1,3,2

     Deborah Jaquith was born after 1654 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony. (an unknown value.)³ She was the daughter of Abraham Jaquith and Annis Jordan.^2,3 Deborah Jaquith married John Chamberlain, son of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly, on 6 December 1681 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.      Sarah Chamberlain was born on 20 May 1655 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.¹ Sarah Chamberlain married Ensign John Shed on 9 January 1676/77 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony, They had ten children, all born in Billerica: Sarah, Elizabeth, Benoni, Rebecca, John, Mary, Dorothy, Hannah, Benjamin and Jemima.^2,3 Sarah Chamberlain died on 17 January 1735/36 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at age 80.^2,4,3

     Jacob Chamberlain was born on 18 January 1657/58 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,3,2 He was the son of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.¹ Jacob Chamberlain married Experience (?) before 1691 Their children were Jacob, John, WIlliam, Jason and Ebenezer.^2,4 Jacob Chamberlain died on 11 April 1712 in Newton, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at age 54.^2,4

     Thomas Chamberlain was born on 20 February 1658/59 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,3,2 He was the son of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.¹ Thomas Chamberlain married Elizabeth Hammond on 18 April 1682 in Cambridge, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Their children, all born in Newton, were Thomas, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Mary, Sarah and John.^2,4 Thomas Chamberlain died before October 1724 in Newton, Province of Massachusetts Bay. His estate was inventoried Oct. 23, 1724.²

     Rebecca Chamberlain was born on 25 February 1662/63 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,3,2 She was the daughter of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.¹ Rebecca Chamberlain married as her first husband Thomas Stearns, son of John Stearns and Mary Lathrop, on 20 June 1688 in Concord, Massachusetts Bay Colony, Their children were Rebecca, Mary, Sarah and Hannah.^2,4,5 Rebecca Chamberlain married as her second husband George Farley on 14 July 1699 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay, Their children were Lydia, Anna, Enoch and Esther.^2,6,5 Rebecca Chamberlain died in 1728.⁷

     Abraham Chamberlain was born on 6 January 1664/65 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^3,1,2 He was the son of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.¹ Abraham Chamberlain married as his first wife Elizabeth (?) on 9 March 1691/92 in Newton, Province of Massachusetts Bay, Their children were Abraham and Elizabeth.^2,4 Abraham Chamberlain married as his second wife Mary Randall on 24 February 1697/98 in Watertown, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^2,5 Abraham Chamberlain died after 28 June 1728 in Brookline, Province of Massachusetts Bay, now Norfolk County, (he acknowledged a deed on this date.)²

     Ann Chamberlain was born on 3 March 1665/66 in Billerica, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^3,1 She was the daughter of William Chamberlain and Rebecca Shelly.¹ Ann Chamberlain died after 12 December 1726 in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay, She was alive on this date when the town of Billerica paid Clement Chamberlain for keeping her.²
