     Mercy Sears was born on 3 July 1659 in East Yarmouth, Plymouth Colony, now Barnstable County, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Paul Sears and Deborah Willard.¹ Her death date has not been found.

     William White was born on 6 April 1721.¹ He married Mercy Sears, daughter of Paul Sears and Charity Whittredge, on 3 December 1751.¹ William White died on 20 May 1817 at age 96.¹
