     Samuel Hanson was born in 1684 in Province of Maryland The book Colonial Families has his birthdate as 1656, but that seems inconsistent with the birthdates of his siblings.1,2,3,4 He was the son of John Hanson and Mary Hussey.3 Samuel Hanson married Elizabeth Story, daughter of Walter Story and Mary Morris, circa 1706.5,2,3 Samuel Hanson died on 26 October 1740 in Province of Maryland.1,2,3
     He was a judge.3 He left a will on 22 October 1740.6
