     He and Alice Barry appeared on the 1910 Federal census of Anaconda Township, Deer Lodge County, Montana, enumerated 19 April 1910. Their children Alice Seabury, Grace, Gertrude, Mary Elizabeth and Edward Payson were listed as living with them.6 Edward Payson Mathewson and Alice Barry appeared on the 1920 Federal census of Richmond Borough, Richmond County, New York, enumerated 11 January 1920. Their children Gertrude, Mary Elizabeth, Edward Payson and Alice Seabury were listed as living with them. Their son-in-law Edward Vestal Graybeal and three grandchildren Edward were also in the household.4 Edward Payson Mathewson was a mining engineer. In 1923 he was the president of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers. In 1926 ie became a professor at the University of Arizona.7 He and Alice Barry appeared on the 1930 Federal census of Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, enumerated 3 April 1930. Their son Edward Payson Mathewson was listed as living with them.8 Edward Payson Mathewson and Alice Barry appeared on the 1940 Federal census of Tucson, Pima County, Arizona enumerated 17 April 1940.9

     Gertrude Mathewson was born on 14 March 1902 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Edward Payson Mathewson and Alice Barry.1 Gertrude Mathewson married Albert Raymond Nolin on 20 August 1927.3 Gertrude Mathewson died in May 1984 at age 82.3,4
     She appeared on the 1910 Federal census of Anaconda Township, Montana in the household of her parents Edward Payson Mathewson and Alice Barry.2 Gertrude Mathewson appeared on the 1920 Federal census of Richmond Borough, New York in the household of her parents Edward Payson Mathewson and Alice Barry.5 Gertrude Mathewson and Albert Raymond Nolin appeared on the 1930 Federal census of Highland Park, Wayne County, Michigan, enumerated 24 April 1930. Their son John Barry Nolin was listed as living with them.6 Gertrude Mathewson and Albert Raymond Nolin appeared on the 1940 Federal census of Skaneateles, Onondaga County, New York enumerated 25 April 1940.
