     B. was also known as Bill; His name in the 1860 CA census is hard to read but it looks like Blackmont.3 He appeared on the census of 24 June 1860 in the household of his brother Marshall Palmer in San Luis Obispo County, California.4 B. M. Palmer appeared on the 1870 Federal census of Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, enumerated 4 November 1870. B.M.'s wife Lucretia and daughter Ella were also in the household, along with his nephew Latham McDougall.1

     Samuel Lorenzo Howard was born on 16 October 1840 in Bedford, Bedfordshire, England. He was the son of Samuel Lane and Betsy (Pack) Howard.1 He married Sarah Jane Hamilton, daughter of James Lang Hamilton and Mary Ann Campbell, after 1 April 1865 in Salt Lake City, Utah Territory.3,2,4 Samuel Lorenzo Howard died on 10 September 1906 in Riverton, Salt Lake County, Utah, at age 65.1
     He appeared on the 1851 census of Stotfold, Bedfordshire, England, enumerated 30 March 1851, in the household of his parents John and Mary Howard.5 He and Sarah Jane Hamilton appeared on the 1870 Federal census of Millcreek, Utah Territory, enumerated 19 August 1870. Her son James Hamilton Gardner and three younger children were in the household.6 Samuel Lorenzo Howard and Sarah Jane Hamilton appeared on the 1880 Federal census of South Jordan, Salt Lake County, Utah Territory, enumerated June 1880 along with five children.7

     Jacques Arrive dit de l'Isle was born on 26 October 1639 in Ars-en-Re, Aunis (now Charente Maritime), France.1,2 He was the son of Pierre Arrive and Jeanne Rousseau.3 Jacques Arrive dit de l'Isle married Renee de LaPorte, daughter of Jean Jacques de LaPorte and Esther Gaudreau, on 22 July 1663 in Ars-en-Re, Aunis (now Charente Maritime), France. Jacques Arrive dit de l'Isle died before 1674 in Nouvelle France, now Canada.2
