     Edith Barrow was born in 1905 in England. She was the daughter of Samuel and Kate (Sinclair) Barrow.1,2 She married Joseph J. Bow, son of James Bow and Agnes Cross, before 1930. Edith Barrow died in 1979.1
     She and Joseph J. Bow appeared on the 1930 Federal census of Bronx, Bronx County, New York enumerated 8 April 1930.2 Edith Barrow and Joseph J. Bow appeared on the 1940 Federal census of Pearl River, Rockland County, New York enumerated 8 April 1940 along with two other sons. Their children David Joseph were listed as living with them.3

     James Bow was born in 1873 in Ireland. He was the son of Thomas and Kate (Cairns) Bow.1 He married Agnes Cross before 1898. James Bow died in 1949.1

Agnes Cross1

b. 1874, d. 1937
     Agnes Cross was born in 1874 in Ireland. She was the daughter of Joseph and Agnes Cross.1 She married James Bow before 1898. Agnes Cross died in 1937.1

Nellie Townsend1

b. April 1874, d. 1964
     Nellie Townsend was born in April 1874 in New Brunswick, Canada.1,2 She was the daughter of John Townsend and Joanna McCarty.1 Nellie Townsend married Daniel Morton Gardner , son of Daniel M. Gardner and Deborah Bradford, circa 1894 Daniel Morton must have been married twice based on the ages of his daughters in the 1900 census - the oldest daughter was only 10 years younger than Nellie.2 She died in 1964.1
     She and Daniel Morton Gardner appeared on the 1900 Federal census of Calais, Washington County, Maine, enumerated 16 June 1900. Their son Daniel Morgan was listed as living with them. Five other children were in the household.2 Nellie Townsend and Daniel Morton Gardner appeared on the 1910 Federal census of Calais, Washington County, Maine, enumerated 23 April 1910. Their son Daniel Morgan was listed as living with them, along with five daughters.3 Nellie Townsend and Daniel Morton Gardner appeared on the 1920 Federal census of Calais, Washington County, Maine, enumerated 5 January 1920 along with six daughters..4 Nellie Townsend appeared on the 1930 Federal census of Calais, Washington County, Maine enumerated 25 April 1930 along with one daughter and her mother Joanna McCarty..5

     Joanna McCarty was born in 1851 in Canada.1,2 She married John Townsend, son of James Townsend, before 1874. Joanna McCarty died in 1940.1
     She appeared on the 1930 Federal census of Calais, in Washington County, Maine, in the household of her daughter Nellie Townsend.2
