He was the son of John and Sarah (Dane) Heald.1,2 He married Mary Chandler, daughter of Roger Chandler and Mary Simonds, on 18 December 1690 in Concord, Massachusetts Bay Colony, They had nine children.1,2 Lieut. John Heald died on 23 November 1721 in Concord, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at age 55.1

     Mary Wright was born on 9 April 1720 in Concord, Province of Massachusetts Bay. She was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Wright.1,2 She married James Chandler, son of Samuel Chandler and Dorcas Buss, in 1737 in Concord, Province of Massachusetts Bay.1,2 Mary Wright died on 4 May 1746 in Concord, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at age 26.1,2
