     Roger Chandler was born circa 1580 in Colchester, Essex, England.1 He was christened on 4 April 1580 in Lavenham, Suffolk, England, Bishop's transcript.1 He married Isabella Chilton, daughter of James Chilton and Susannah (?), on 21 July 1615 in Canterbury, Kent, England.1 Roger Chandler died before 3 October 1665 in Bridgewater, Plymouth Colony, now Plymouth County, Massachusetts. His death date is estimated based on a land grant to his daughters in his right 3 Oct. 1665 per the Great Migration.1
     He and Isabella Chilton immigrated in 1632, arriving in Plymouth, Plymouth Colony, now Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Their children Phoebe, Samuel, Sarah and Martha traveled with them.1 Roger Chandler became a freeman in 1633 in Plymouth, Plymouth Colony, now Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1
