     Ruth Cole was born on 15 April 1651 in Eastham, Plymouth Colony, now Barnstable County, Massachusetts.2,3 She was the daughter of Daniel Cole and Ruth Chester.2,3 Ruth Cole married as her first husband John Young before 1670.4 Ruth Cole married as her second husband Jonathan Bangs, son of Edward Bangs and Rebecca Hobart, on 23 July 1720 in Eastham, Plymouth Colony, now Barnstable County, Massachusetts.4,5,3 Ruth Cole died circa 1727.6
     Compiler's note: There are several Ruth Coles who lived in Massachusetts in the mid 1600's. I have placed them with parents as best I can. The Snow Genealogy by Mrs. C.L. Alden says that the Ruth who married John Young was the sister of John Cole who married Ruth Snow.
