     Sarah Masterson was born circa 1625 in Leiden, South Holland, Holland.^2,1 She was the daughter of Richard Masterson and Mary Goodall.¹ Sarah Masterson married John Atwood, son of John Atwood and Joan Coleson, in 1642 in Plymouth, Plymouth Colony, now Plymouth County, Massachusetts.^2,1 Sarah Masterson died in 1701 in Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay.¹
     She immigrated in 1629 arriving in Plymouth, Plymouth Colony, now Plymouth County, Massachusetts, with her parents Richard Masterson and Mary Goodall.²

He was using this name to hide his second family from his first wife (who he did not divorce), Alice Kent Hanks. Their granddaugher guesses that Anna Karoline met Charles Thornton while working as a domestic in his household.¹ Anna Karoline Hesselberg died in 1978.¹
