He was the son of Stephen and Mary French.¹ He married Susan Warren on 27 September 1579 in Bures St. Mary, Suffolk, England.¹ Jacob French died before 11 November 1615 in Assington, Suffolk, England.¹ He was buried on 11 November 1615 in Assington, Suffolk, England.¹

     Susan Warren was born in 1555 in Assington, Suffolk, England. She was the daughter of Williiam and Katherine Warren.¹ She married Jacob French on 27 September 1579 in Bures St. Mary, Suffolk, England.¹ Her death date has not been found.
