Neil Livingston Gardner married Mary Ellen Gardner, daughter of Archibald Gardner and Margaret Livingston, on 16 February 1869 in Salt Lake City, Utah Territory.¹ Neil Livingston Gardner died on 20 December 1923 in West Jordan, Salt Lake County, Utah, at age 80.¹ He was buried on 23 December 1923 in West Jordan, Salt Lake County, Utah.¹
