     Robert Kenneth Carr was born on 15 February 1908 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.3 He married Olive Cole Grabill, daughter of Ethelbert Vincent Grabill and Annie Elizabeth Ziegler, on 25 August 1933.3 Robert Kenneth Carr died on 21 February 1979 in Elyria, Lorain County, Ohio, at age 71.2,3 He was buried in Westwood Cemetery, Oberlin, Lorain County, Ohio.3
     Robert Kenneth Carr graduated from Dartmouth College, Hanover, Grafton County, New Hampshire, in 1929 with an A. B.3 He received an A. M. from Harvard University, Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts in 1930 and a PhD in 1935.3 From 1931-1937 Carr taught at the University of Oklahoma at Norman.
