He died in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.³

     Robert Kenneth Carr was born on 15 February 1908 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.³ He married Olive Cole Grabill, daughter of Ethelbert Vincent Grabill and Annie Elizabeth Ziegler, on 25 August 1933.³ Robert Kenneth Carr died on 21 February 1979 in Elyria, Lorain County, Ohio, at age 71.^2,3 He was buried in Westwood Cemetery, Oberlin, Lorain County, Ohio.³
     He graduated from Dartmouth College, Hanover, Grafton County, New Hampshire, in 1929 with an A. B.³ He received an A. M. from Harvard University, Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts in 1930 and a PhD in 1935.³ From 1931-1937 Carr taught at the University of Oklahoma at Norman.
