     John Hale was born on 8 September 1756 in Hollis, Province of New Hampshire, now Hillsborough County.^1,2,3 He was the son of Dr. John Hale and Elizabeth Hall.² John Hale married Lydia Tillotson, daughter of Daniel Tillotson and Mindwell Hosford, before 1783.² John Hale died on 15 February 1843 in Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire, at age 86.^1,2

     Lydia Tillotson was born on 8 September 1757 in Orford, Province of New Hampshire, now Grafton County.^1,2 She was the daughter of Daniel Tillotson and Mindwell Hosford.² Lydia Tillotson married John Hale, son of Dr. John Hale and Elizabeth Hall, before 1783.² Lydia Tillotson died on 4 February 1824 in Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire, at age 66.^1,2

     Aaron Hale was born on 19 October 1785 in Hollis, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.^1,2 He was the son of John Hale and Lydia Tillotson.² Aaron Hale married Mary White Kent, daughter of Thomas Kent and Sarah Humphrey, on 24 October 1819 in Hollis, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.⁴ Aaron Hale died on 11 December 1868 in Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire, at age 83.¹
     He and Mary White Kent appeared on the 1850 Federal census of Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire, enumerated 21 September 1850.⁵ Aaron Hale and Mary White Kent appeared on the 1860 Federal census of Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire, enumerated 13 July 1860. Their children Thomas Kent and Edwin Blaisdell were listed as living with them.⁶

     Mary White Kent was born on 25 November 1798 in Corinth, Orange County, Vermont. Her birthdate is calculated from an age of 94 years and 10 days at her death.^2,1 She was the daughter of Thomas Kent and Sarah Humphrey.^3,2 Mary White Kent married Aaron Hale, son of John Hale and Lydia Tillotson, on 24 October 1819 in Hollis, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.² Mary White Kent died on 5 December 1892 in Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire, at age 94. Her death record says she was living in Cambridge, MA at the time of her death, so she was probably in Orford for a visit. Her cause of death was listed as "gradual failure of the powers of life."^1,2
     She and Aaron Hale appeared on the 1850 Federal census of Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire, enumerated 21 September 1850.⁴ Mary White Kent and Aaron Hale appeared on the 1860 Federal census of Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire, enumerated 13 July 1860. Their children Thomas Kent and Edwin Blaisdell were listed as living with them.⁵ Mary White Kent appeared on the 1870 Federal census of Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire, enumerated 21 June 1870 in the household of Daniel Tillotson Hale and Elizabeth Hazleton.⁶ Mary White Kent appeared on the 1880 Federal census of Cambridge, in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, enumerated 12 June 1880 in the household of Moses Emery Cushman and Rebekah Hale.⁷

     Rebecca Hale was born on 19 August 1788 in Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Hale and Lydia Tillotson.² Rebecca Hale married Elihu Phelps.² Rebecca Hale died in 1830.³

     Jacob Hale was born in 1746.¹ He was the son of Jacob Hale.¹ His death date has not been found.

     Ralph Mousal was born in 1570 in Norwich, Norfolk, England. He married Alice (?) before 1595. His death date has not been found.

     Deacon John Mousal was born in 1595 in Norfolk, England. He was the brother of Ralph of Charlestown.³ He was the son of Ralph Mousal and Alice (?) Deacon John Mousal married Joanna (?) in 1623 in England.³ Deacon John Mousal died on 27 March 1665 in Woburn, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^2,4,1
     He and Joanna (?) immigrated circa 1634 in Massachusetts Bay Colony. Their children John and Eunice traveled with them.¹ Deacon John Mousal became a freeman on 3 September 1634 in Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Suffolk County.¹ He left a will on 19 June 1660.¹ His will was proved/probated on 4 April 1665.¹

     Joanna (?) was born in 1599. She married Deacon John Mousal, son of Ralph Mousal and Alice (?), in 1623 in England.³ Joanna (?) died after 1628 in Charlestown, Province of New Hampshire, now Sullivan County.
     She and Deacon John Mousal immigrated circa 1634 in Massachusetts Bay Colony. Their children John and Eunice traveled with them.²

     John was also known as Mousall. He immigrated circa 1634 in Massachusetts Bay Colony with his parents Deacon John Mousal and Joanna (?).²
