     Samuel Hale was born on 15 January 1744/45 in Bradford, Province of Massachusetts Bay.3 He was the son of Jonathan Hale and Susannah Tuttle.2 Samuel Hale married Mindwell Tillotson, daughter of Daniel Tillotson and Mindwell Hosford, in October 1771 in Orford, Province of New Hampshire.3,2 Samuel Hale died on 19 April 1820 in Orford, Grafton County, New Hampshire, at age 75.3

     Silence Goddard was born on 18 November 1752.2 She married Johnathan Hale, son of Jonathan Hale and Susannah Tuttle.2 Silence Goddard died on 15 January 1800 at age 47.2
