     Daniel Mason was born in April 1652 in Old Saybrook, Saybrook Colony, now Middlesex County, Connecticut.^1,2,3 He was the son of Major John Mason and Anne Rosamond Peck.^1,3,4 Daniel Mason married as his first wife Margaret Dennison on 8 February 1673 in Roxbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^5,2 Daniel Mason married Rebecca Hobart as his second wife on 10 October 1679 in Stonington, Connecticut Colony.² He died on 28 June 1737 in Stonington, Connecticut Colony, at age 85.⁴
