     Stephen Greenleaf was born on 8 August 1628 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England.3 He was the son of Edmund Greenleaf and Sarah Moore.3 Stephen Greenleaf was baptized on 10 August 1628 in St. Margaret's Parish, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.1 He married as his first wife Elizabeth Coffin, daughter of Tristram Coffin and Dionis Stevens, on 13 November 1651 in Newbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony.4,2 Stephen Greenleaf married as his second wife Esther Weare on 31 March 1679 in Hampton, Province of New Hampshire, now Rockingham County, She was the widow of Capt. Benjamin Swett.2 Stephen Greenleaf died on 1 December 1690 in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Nouvelle France, now Canada, at age 62. He drowned. The Newbury vital records say "cast on shore at Capbreton coming from Canada and all lost."4

     Edmund Greenleaf was born on 2 January 1573 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. "The Greenleaf Genealogy" has 1600.1 He was the son of John Greenleaf and Margaret (?)2 Edmund Greenleaf was baptized on 2 January 1574 in St. Mary le Tower, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.3 He married Sarah Moore, daughter of Enoch Moore and Catherine (?), in 1611 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England.4 Edmund Greenleaf died on 24 March 1670/71 in Boston, Massachusetts Bay Colony, at age 98.3
     He left a will on 25 December 1668. His will mentions his son Stephen, "daughter Browne" (Elizabeth), "daughter Coffin" (Judith), grandchildren Elizabeth Hilton, Enoch Greenleaf, Sarah Winslow and James Greenleaf.5

     Enoch Moore was born in 1560 in Maldon, Essex, England. He was the son of Nicholas and Willamin Moore.1 He was baptized on 19 January 1560 in St. Peter's Church, Maldon, Essex, England. He married Catherine (?) on 23 November 1585 in Maldon, Essex, England.1 Enoch Moore died after 1615. He was living in 1615 based on being mentioned in the will of his brother Francis.1
