     Joanna (?) and Henry Kingman immigrated , departing from Weymouth, Dorsetshire, England on March 20, 1635, arriving 6 May 1635 in Boston, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Suffolk County. Their children Edward, Joanna, Thomas, John and Ann traveled with them. They traveled in the company of Reverend Joseph Hull.¹

She was the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Button) French.¹ She married Eleazer Isbell, son of Robert Isbell and Ann (?), on 1 November 1668 in Killingworth, Connecticut Colony, now Middlesex County.^1,2 Her death date has not been found.

     Nathaniel Spencer was born on 21 December 1658 in Lynn, Massachusetts Bay Colony.³ He was the son of Sargeant Jared Spencer and Hannah Hill.² Nathaniel Spencer married Lydia Smith in 1681 in Kinderhook, Province of New York, now Columbia County.¹ Nathaniel Spencer died in 1718 in East Haddam, Connecticut Colony, now Middlesex County.^2,3,1

     Lydia Smith was born in 1661 in Norwalk, Connecticut Colony, now Fairfield County. She was the daughter of Thomas of Haddam, CT.¹ She married Nathaniel Spencer, son of Sargeant Jared Spencer and Hannah Hill, in 1681 in Kinderhook, Province of New York, now Columbia County.¹ Lydia Smith died date unknown.

     Gerard Spencer was born on 20 May 1575 in Edworth, Bedfordshire, England.¹ He was the son of Michael Spencer and Elizabeth (?).¹ Gerard Spencer married Alice Whitbred, daughter of John Lawrence Whitbred and Eleanor Radcliffe, on 10 November 1600.¹ Gerard Spencer died after 1614.¹

     Alice Whitbred was born circa 1578 in Upper Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of John Lawrence Whitbred and Eleanor Radcliffe.¹ Alice Whitbred married Gerard Spencer, son of Michael Spencer and Elizabeth (?), on 10 November 1600.¹ Alice Whitbred died on 20 November 1628 in Elstow, Bedfordshire, England.¹
